I would recommend this game and think it is a unique addition to anyones game library. But like anything, it get old after awhile. I thought this game had a good mix of fun and humor. I was vastly amused wathcing my hordes run around sacking villages and eating sheep.
Overlord Rocks. Amusing dark humor, fresh concept, and some of the most amusing gameplay I have found in years.
But seriously it worth experiencing for yourself. I don't have really anything negative to say about this game except that it appeals to the female gender so i don't get to play it as much as i want to. The graphics are colorful and pleasing to the eye.
This is no doubt a wonderful game. Your main character has some basic attacks and a few spells but its the army you control that really steal the show here. This is the only game i've played where my girlfriend stole the controller and didn't give it back.
It has some well written dialogue that is humorous and witty at times. Hurry up and finish it so you can pre-order Overlord 2. It has some simple controls that allow you to sit back and watch your little minions sack and pillage the local peasants and their goods.
There are 4 different types of goblin like minions to do your bidding and each one has a different ability.

I havent played it in a few months. The game is irreverent and quite funny.Well worth the money.Get the Raising Hell addition to round it out. Im sure Ill be playing it over again by the end of the day. This turned out to be one of my all time favorite games. I found myself playing it obsessively just to experience the game from an all evil or all good point of view.I loved the humor and character voices.
